About Green Monkey Landscaping

Half the yards around Middle Creek are more bank than lawn, pitched at an angle that argues with anything on wheels. Green Monkey Landscaping goes after those in May, when growth is at full throttle — mowing what can be mowed, walking the steep faces with a trimmer, edging the flat runs, hauling the cuttings away. There is a strange joy in finishing a slope: you stand at the bottom, look up, and the whole face is one shade of green running one direction. Sevierville is built on land that never quite agreed to lie flat. Somebody has to keep it neat anyway.
