Hardin Farmer's Co-Op

About Hardin Farmer's Co-Op

September is when a Tennessee lawn quietly decides what next spring will look like. The heat lets off, the river-bottom soil will take seed again, and the fescue that spent August merely surviving finally gets its chance to thicken. Hardin Farmer's Co-Op works to that calendar in Savannah — mowing right through the growing season, trimming and edging around walks and beds, clearing the yard so the turf heads into fall with light on it. Grass here answers to rain, heat and timing more than to anything else, and minding all three is most of the craft. A lawn given that attention in September is the one that comes back green in March.
