Morris Lawn Care

About Morris Lawn Care

The first cool morning of September arrives as a surprise every single year: heavy dew, fog lying along the hayfield edges out toward Watts Bar. Morris Lawn Care is out in it, mowing while the ground is still firm, running the trimmer down the fence line, edging the walk to a clean seam. Grass grows most of the year in this part of Tennessee, so the work is steady rather than dramatic — one cut at a time, week after week after week. Autumn adds the leaves; the first warm stretch adds the clearing of sticks and matted-down winter litter. Nothing showy about any of it, and that is exactly the point.
