Red Bank Aluminum

About Red Bank Aluminum

Cold settles into this valley and stays a while, pooling along Mountain Creek where the ridges keep the sun out until midmorning. Red Bank Aluminum takes on the winter side of things, pushing snow off driveways and lots, clearing steps and sidewalks by hand, spreading de-icer on the shaded stretches that never quite let go. There is a particular pleasure in the sound a shovel makes the moment it reaches concrete. Neighbors step outside to find the path already dark and dry, grit crunching underfoot, the car free to back down without a slide. Between these ridges, that is the difference between a stuck morning and an ordinary one.
