About Hamby Land Management

January dark comes early over the pastures around Pulaski, and stock still has to be fed whether or not the lane is under four inches. Hamby Land Management plows the working ground of Giles County — the drive to the house, the lane to the barn, the apron by the gate where a truck and trailer need room to swing. Snow across an open field does not stay where it fell; it walks with the wind and piles against the fence line, so a lane cleared at dawn can want a second look by dusk. The pleasure of it is watching a place come back to life: gates opening, a hay ring reachable, tire tracks on bare gravel again. Out here that is what a cleared drive actually buys.
