About Cox Garbage Services

Now and then Pulaski wakes up white, and it happens rarely enough that nobody in Giles County treats it lightly. Cox Garbage Services turns out for those mornings — plow down before daylight, curb lines opened, back alleys and parking aprons cleared while the streetlights are still doing the work of the sun. Snow here is a short story rather than a season, so the whole job is timing: get to it while it is soft, break it before it packs, salt the shaded strip that never sees noon. By the time the town is stirring, the drive is bare pavement and the day can simply go ahead as planned. That is the entire point, and it is a quiet, satisfying thing to hand somebody.
