About North Landscaping & Hardscapes

This corner of Tennessee sits on limestone, and sooner or later every yard around Portland says so — a slope that wants a wall, a low corner that holds water after an autumn storm. North Landscaping & Hardscapes reads that ground first and builds to it, with lawn care and landscaping above and stone and hardscape work set into the grade below. Fall is a fine season for it here, when the maples along the older streets turn copper and the soil is cool and workable. A patio set true, a bed cut to a clean curve, turf running right up to the stone without a ragged inch — that is the result worth every load hauled in. The farms and homes out toward Bethpage and Westmoreland get the same reading of the land, whatever shape the lot came in.
