John's Lawn And Landscaping

About John's Lawn And Landscaping

A summer thunderstorm crosses Portland in about twenty minutes — dark in the west, wind through the treetops, an inch of rain, and then sun again on a steaming road. Two days later every lawn in the county has grown half again, and that is when John's Lawn And Landscaping is busiest: mowing, trimming, edging, bed work and hauling the growth away before it gets ahead of anyone. Wet ground takes a lighter pass and a bit of patience so the turf is left clean rather than torn. Getting a thick, storm-fed yard back down to an even, striped surface in one visit is honest work with an honest result. Around here the sky writes the schedule, and the job is to keep up with it.
