AR’S LAWNCARE

About AR’S LAWNCARE

The kindest hour of a Portland summer day is the last one, when the heat finally lets go of the pavement and the light comes in low and gold across the yards off Highway 109. AR'S LAWNCARE often finishes in that light — mowing, string trimming, edging along the walks and drives, then blowing the clippings back off the concrete so a yard reads as finished rather than merely cut. Grass here jumps after a warm rain, and the older lots around town are full of slopes, shade and odd corners, so no two properties take quite the same line. What holds the work together is repetition done right: the same clean stripe, week after week, from the first cut of spring to the last one of fall. A lawn kept that way announces itself from the road, and no one has to say a word about it.
