Paris keeps its own small Eiffel Tower standing in the park, and by late October the maples around the courthouse square have gone the color of a struck match. H & B Tree Service LLC works Henry County through that stretch, when the leaves come off and every flaw in a tree shows itself. Pruning is the season's real craft, a handful of right cuts that a tree will carry for years. Removals get done while the ground is dry and a yard can take a truck without scarring. And when a front crosses the county and drops a limb through a fence, storm damage cleanup ends with the fence line clear and the brush gone.
