Some January mornings the fog sits low over Chickamauga Lake and the ridges east of Ooltewah come out of it like islands, while the roads up top go glazed and white. MYW Landscape and Excavation runs snow and ice work on days like that — plowing driveways, opening lots and walks, spreading salt on the grades where a car cannot hold. The rest of the year the same attention goes into lawns: mowing, trimming, mulching beds, edging, and clearing whatever the season drops. Ridge-and-valley ground means slopes and drainage, and both the mowing and the plowing get planned around which way the water runs. Whatever the month, the finished work reads the same from the street — deliberate, and done.
