About Mountain Land Services

Two very different mornings define the year for Mountain Land Services. One falls in August, when the air over Oneida hangs thick as creek water and the mowing starts early to beat it — grass cut, edges run, clippings blown off the walks before the heat sets its weight down. The other falls in January, snow pushed before daylight, driveways and lots opened while the wind works across the cleared ground east of town. Trimming and cleanup fill the shoulder weeks; salt and sand fill the cold ones. Same trucks, same Scott County roads, two entirely different kinds of quiet at the end of the day.
