DB land management and tree work

About DB land management and tree work

This corner of Tennessee does not get much snow, but when a January system swings up out of the Delta it arrives as ice, and Fayette County goes still overnight. DB land management and tree work is out in that stillness, running the long gravel drives before the sun finds them. Plowing, scraping walkways down to the surface, spreading salt where shade holds a glaze past noon — it is short-season work that matters entirely on the one morning it is needed. There is a particular satisfaction in a cleared drive at first light, tire tracks the only mark on an otherwise white county. By the time the eaves start dripping and the roads turn dark again, the day has already been made possible.
