About Cook’s Lawncare LLC

Oakland mornings start with fog lying low over the cotton rows, and by the time it lifts the mowers are already running. Cook's Lawncare LLC keeps yards along US-64 and the lanes behind it cut clean through the long West Tennessee summer, when Bermuda grows faster than anyone can watch. The work is mowing, string-trimming the fence lines, edging the walks so the concrete shows a straight dark seam, and hauling the clippings off. Come autumn there are pecan leaves to gather and beds to put to rest before the first hard frost. What stays behind is a yard that looks tended from the road — which, in a town this size, is most of what a yard is for.
