Spencer Lawn Care

About Spencer Lawn Care

The first snow of the year usually finds Newport in late November, an inch of it laid over a lawn that was mowed only three weeks before. Spencer Lawn Care handles both halves of that sentence — the mowing, trimming and edging that carry from March to the last warm week, and the plowing and shoveling once the valley has gone quiet and white. Cold settles into the creek hollows east of town and sits there all day, so an early clearing holds far better than a late one. There is real pleasure in a drive opened wide and square, curb to garage door, with the walk cut through too. Then coffee, and on to the next one.
