Posey's Tree Service

About Posey's Tree Service

English Mountain holds the last of the light over Newport, and the hayfields under it stay gold a while after town has gone to shade. Posey's Tree Service likes those long evenings, the heat off the day, the saw quiet between cuts, a poplar coming down one measured piece at a time. Removal on a Cocke County place is mostly patience and geometry: where the barn stands, where the fence runs, which way the trunk wants to go. Trimming and pruning are the finish work, lifting a canopy off a tin roof and opening a line of sight down the drive. And when a summer squall comes over the ridge and drops half a hardwood across a gate, storm damage cleanup means gate, drive and yard all usable again by dark.
