About Garner Landscape & Design

Newbern's older streets are shaded by big maples and oaks that were planted for exactly that reason, and on a July evening the lawns under them cool off before anything else in town does. Garner Landscape & Design tends those yards — mowing and edging, keeping mulch beds clean and defined, cutting back what crowds the walk, and clearing leaf fall when the shade trees drop in November. Shade and sun sit close together on a town lot, so the mowing height changes across a single yard, and the beds get worked by hand where a machine would tear them up. Come one of Dyer County's rare snows, the same hands plow the drive and open the walk to the porch. Every visit is meant to leave a place looking composed — lines where lines belong, and nothing overgrown.
