About Dean's Overhead Door & Services

On the flat ground around Newbern there is nothing to stop the wind, so when a winter system swings down out of Missouri the snow moves sideways and drifts across driveways in the dark. Dean's Overhead Door & Services handles the clearing: plowing drives and parking areas, cutting a path along walkways, and treating the places where meltwater refreezes overnight into a sheet. The good hours are the early ones, before the highway toward Dyersburg fills with people trying to get to work. Ice matters more than depth out here — a quarter inch on a sloped drive will hold a car in place all day — so the scraping goes down to the pavement. There is real satisfaction in a place that is open and walkable while the fields are still white to the horizon.
