Landers Stump Removal and Leaf Services

About Landers Stump Removal and Leaf Services

By the last week of October the hackberries and sugar maples of Nashville let go all at once, and East Side yards go ankle-deep in gold overnight. Landers Stump Removal and Leaf Services is out in that season and in every other one, removing the tree that has outlived its spot and then grinding the stump down below grade so the ground can be raked flat, seeded and forgotten. Trimming rounds out the work, lifting limbs off a porch roof and bringing a crown back inside its own footprint. There is something quietly satisfying about the last pass, when the grinder shuts off and what stood in the middle of the yard is a soft ring of chips and open lawn. The Cumberland keeps its bend, the street keeps its shade, and one more yard gets its space back.
