Jack of All Greens

About Jack of All Greens

East Nashville lets go all at once in October — hackberry and maple over Riverside Drive, leaves stacking against the curbs from Inglewood down to Shelby Bottoms. Jack of All Greens keeps lawns through that long tumble and the nine green months ahead of it, cutting, edging and trimming around porch piers and the fence lines no mower ever fits. The old yards over here are small and full of character, half full sun and half deep shade, and no two want the same schedule. A clean stripe across a narrow front lawn does something out of proportion to its size. It makes a house look cared for from the sidewalk, which is where most people ever see it.
