About Grasshopper Landscape Management - Grasshopper Design

Richland Creek runs quiet behind Sylvan Park, and the neighborhood's square little yards were laid out back when a lawn was measured in steps rather than acres. Grasshopper Landscape Management works at exactly that scale — cutting close to old stone curbs, edging the sidewalk seams, keeping the strip between street and walk as tidy as the front bed. Mowing in a bungalow grid is a study in angles; you learn the turn radius of every driveway on the block. By June the maples throw enough shade that half a yard grows differently from the other half, and the cutting height has to answer for it. The reward is a street that reads as one long ribbon of green from the corner.
