About Goodin Lawncare

Bordeaux sits high above the Cumberland's west bend, and weather finds those hills before it finds anywhere else in Nashville. Goodin Lawncare works both halves of the year here: the rare gray morning when ice glazes a driveway on the north side, and the long green run from April to October when mowing starts early to stay ahead of the humidity. Plowing on this ground means knowing which slopes hold their frost until ten o'clock and which lots have thawed by breakfast. In summer it means a straight edge along the walk, clippings cleared off the concrete, a lawn that looks combed rather than merely cut. Both jobs finish the same way — a place you can pull into without thinking about it, which is the entire point.
