About ER Handyman Services

Freezing rain in Madison starts as a sound before it's a sight — a fine tick against the window somewhere around midnight. ER Handyman Services works the hours after that, plowing driveways and small lots, shoveling porches, steps and walks, laying salt where the ice has already set on the side streets off Gallatin Pike. A quarter inch of glaze shuts more down here than a foot of snow does farther north, because so little of the ground is built for it. The crew opens a path from the door to the car and then widens it out. Handing somebody back a safe way out of their own house is a decent night's work.
