Brooks Lawn Service

About Brooks Lawn Service

Big Creek runs through Millington slow and brown, and the flat bottom ground beside it grows grass like it is trying to prove something. Brooks Lawn Service takes that as an invitation. On a July evening, with the light going long and gold over the levee, a yard mowed down and trimmed out along the fence line looks like the day was worth having. Come January the creek fog freezes onto everything and the town gets one of those slick West Tennessee mornings, and then the same hands are out with plow and shovel opening driveways and walks. Two very different kinds of weather, one habit: show up, do the whole yard, leave nothing half done.
