About Arbor Tech Tree & Landscaping

West of Millington the land quits being flat and lifts into the old loess bluffs above the Mississippi, and the timber that grows up there — water oak, hickory, sweetgum — leans its way back into town over fences and rooflines. Arbor Tech Tree & Landscaping works in that shade. October is the honest season for it: leaves thinning, the shape of a tree finally visible, deadwood easy to read against a pale sky. A limb taken out well is the one nobody notices afterward, and grass that has been kept mown and trimmed underneath comes back the following spring instead of surrendering to moss. The pleasure of this trade is that it is slow and it compounds — a yard tended this fall is a better yard for the next ten.
