Shipley's Lawn Care

About Shipley's Lawn Care

March in Milan is mud and wind, and then one warm week shows up and all of Gibson County comes green at once. Shipley's Lawn Care meets that first flush with mowing, trimming and edging, and holds the rhythm through the long humid stretch of summer and into the leaf work of autumn. When the calendar swings hard the other way — an ice event, or a rare few inches lying flat on flat ground — the same hands plow drives and lots, shovel walks, and treat the spots that refreeze at dusk. There is a certain pride in knowing a property in both of its faces, the June one and the January one. A finished yard, borders tight and clippings cleared, is a small piece of order in a season that mostly does as it pleases.
