About Kingdom Landscaping

From Harbor Town the Hernando de Soto bridge draws its two bright arcs over the river, and on a freezing night the whole island seems to hold its breath. Kingdom Landscaping works those winter mornings on Mud Island and back across into the city — plowing drives and lots, clearing walkways and entries, spreading salt where the wind off the water keeps everything frozen hard. River cold has a reach to it that a thermometer never quite explains. Clearing a path in that wind, before the sky lightens, leaves something you can see: dark pavement, a way through. By the time traffic starts humming on the bridge, the walks are open.
