About Hodges Tree & Landscape

Cooper-Young in November is all leaf-fall, and it comes down in a week and a half whether anybody is ready or not. Hodges Tree & Landscape works those bungalow blocks — mowing and edging while the grass still moves, trimming the borders, clearing yards and walks once the drop begins in earnest. Midtown lots are narrow and full of angles, so most of the finishing happens by hand. And when a rare Memphis snow settles over the same streets, the crew is out plowing drives, clearing steps, and salting the sidewalks under the porch lights. A block that stays walkable in every kind of weather is worth the early starts.
