C&S Lawn Care Service

About C&S Lawn Care Service

In Whitehaven the magnolias hold the heat and the lawns stretch out flat and generous in front of brick ranch houses. C&S Lawn Care Service runs those streets through the deepest part of summer, mowing ahead of the worst afternoon sun, edging long curb lines, trimming around mailboxes and fence posts until everything sits square. South Memphis grass grows fast enough to feel like a conversation you have to keep up with. There is a smell to a fresh-cut yard here in August — green and hot asphalt together — that tells the block somebody has been by. Fall turns the work to leaves and cleanup, the beds cleared and the yard put down for winter, and then it all begins again.
