About Coopertown Fireplace & Wildlife Services

Out past the north edge of the county, where fields run toward the woods at Meeman-Shelby Forest, a hard freeze feels older and quieter than it does in the city. Coopertown Fireplace & Wildlife Services turns to snow work when the weather turns — plowing driveways and gravel approaches, clearing steps and walks by hand, spreading ice melt on the surfaces that matter most. Long country drives are their own problem; nobody reaches the road until somebody opens the lane. There is something plain and good about a drive pushed clear under bare winter trees, the snow banked neat along its edges. Then the thaw arrives, as it always does here, and the ground goes back to mud and green.
