About B&E Landscape & outdoor creations

Four in the morning in Cordova, and the lots along Germantown Parkway sit under a white skin of snow nobody expected to stay. B&E Landscape & outdoor creations is already moving — blade down, salt in the hopper, working driveways and entrances and the long walkways where people will step out in dress shoes by eight. Snow falls rarely enough here that a half-inch rearranges everyone's day; the point is to un-rearrange it. That means plowing, shoveling by hand where the blade can't fit, and de-icing the shaded corners that stay white until noon. There is a stretch just before sunrise when the whole subdivision is silent and the pavement is clean, and it is hard to beat.
