Victorys Lawn and Labor

About Victorys Lawn and Labor

McMinnville grows things for a living — mile after mile of nursery rows running out past the city limits, root-balled maples standing in line and waiting on a truck. Victorys Lawn and Labor works the ground people actually live on instead: the yards along the side streets, the churchyards, the long front lawns that tilt down toward the Barren Fork. Summer here comes in humid and green and simply refuses to quit, so mowing becomes a rhythm rather than an errand — cut, trim, edge, blow the walk clean, and leave a line along the driveway you could set a level against. By August the work starts early, before the heat stacks up in the valley; by late October it turns to leaves and one last cut ahead of frost. There is a particular satisfaction in the moment the mower shuts off and a yard finally just reads. Lawn care, plain and unhurried, for McMinnville and the Warren County towns around it.
