J & L Tree Service

About J & L Tree Service

On a clear Maryville morning the Smokies come up over the rooftops like a wall somebody painted overnight, with Chilhowee standing out front of them all winter in bare hardwood gray. J & L Tree Service works the yards under that view, taking a poplar down in sections because the garage is four feet away, trimming limbs back off the power drop, pruning a crown open so the wind has somewhere to go. Foothills weather can turn a calm evening into a night of falling limbs, and the call tends to come early. What follows is a long day of cutting and hauling until the drive is passable and the lawn shows no sign of any of it. Blount County trees grow fast, and keeping them good neighbors is the whole of the job.
