About AgCentral Co-op

Out past Six Mile the hayfields go the color of straw in January, and the working day starts before the light does. AgCentral Co-op runs the plow through that country when the weather turns — farm lanes, equipment aprons, the long approach to a barn that has to be reachable whether or not anyone has made it that far up the road. Cattle do not observe snow days, and neither does a delivery truck with somewhere to be. The blade goes down, the drift comes off, grit goes where the tires will need it, and the gate opens like any other morning. It is unshowy work with an obvious result, which is most of what recommends it.
