Hale's Brush Cutting Service

About Hale's Brush Cutting Service

Where the Duck and the Little Duck come together at Old Stone Fort, late winter leaves everything bare and briary, and you can finally see how much a piece of ground has gotten away from itself. Hale's Brush Cutting Service works that stretch of the calendar — cutting brush and heavy overgrowth, mowing rough ground, trimming back what crowds a fence or a drive. When a cold snap does put ice and snow on Manchester, the same equipment turns to plowing drives and lots, clearing walks and salting them down. The service area runs through Manchester and the Coffee County towns around it, in whichever season is asking. A lot reclaimed from brambles, or a drive open before the ice hardens, both leave a place better than you found it.
