Mark's Snow Removal

About Mark's Snow Removal

Snow does not come often to this stretch of the Tennessee Valley, but when it does the whole county stops — and somebody still has a six o'clock shift to make. Mark's Snow Removal is out ahead of that hour, plowing driveways and lots around Louisville, scraping walkways down to the concrete, spreading salt on the ice these Southern storms leave behind more reliably than powder. Headlights, an empty road, the scrape of a blade on a cold driveway: it is not a glamorous hour, and it is exactly the one people remember. By the time the sun clears the ridge, the drive is open and the walk is safe to cross. That is the whole job, and it is worth doing right.
