Tellico Sharpening

About Tellico Sharpening

Four in the morning in Tellico Village is blue-dark, a wind off the lake, and nothing else moving. That is the hour Tellico Sharpening is already at it — plowing driveways, clearing walks and stoops, and spreading salt before the first car of the day tries the hill. A snow week is rare enough on this stretch of East Tennessee that it rearranges the whole town when it arrives. The measure of the job is somebody stepping out at seven and finding their morning unchanged. Covering Tellico Village, Vonore, Greenback and Loudon.
