About Hammond tree service

South of Lawrenceburg the land runs out into long hay fields and oak fencerows, and Loretto sits in the middle of it, a few miles up from the Alabama line. Hammond tree service works those ridges: taking down a leaning white oak, opening a hickory's crown so light gets back to the yard, pruning young limbs before they learn a bad habit. When a squall line pushes across the ridges and leaves the road under branches, the saws come out and nobody quits until the drive is open and the brush is loaded. There is a plain satisfaction in a cleanup that leaves nothing behind but the smell of sawdust and a piece of sky that was not there the day before. Big work, small county, done in the daylight it takes.
