About Wixx

Ice, not snow, is usually what a Lone Oak winter sends: one night of freezing drizzle and by daybreak every drive and step in the community wears a shell. Wixx works those mornings with snow and ice removal, driveway plowing, walkway clearing, de-icing where the sun will not reach before noon, and callouts on the days the roads shut down. Cold settles into the low ground here and lingers, so a shaded stretch of pavement can stay treacherous long after the sky has gone clear. Opening the way out — steps, walk, drive, all of it down to bare surface — is both the job and the reason to do it. Lone Oak and the neighboring Tennessee communities are covered.
