Buffalo River LandCare

About Buffalo River LandCare

In Linden the Buffalo River runs shallow and clear over gravel bars, and summer mornings start with mist lifting off its bends before the sun tops the ridges. Buffalo River LandCare takes its name from that water and its work from the lawns that grow green along it. Each yard is mowed level, the edges pulled straight along walks and drives, and the trimmings cleared so the grass reads clean from the street. By the time the canoes are out on a July afternoon, a cut lawn in the Perry County seat is already settling into its shade. It is lawn care made for a river town that takes its green seriously.
