Blue Chip Excavating

About Blue Chip Excavating

Winter arrives in Marshall County in a single quiet night — a skim of ice on the gravel, the ridges above Lewisburg gone pale before anybody has poured a first cup of coffee. Blue Chip Excavating works those hours, headlights swinging up long country drives while the rest of the county is still under quilts. There is real satisfaction in a driveway opened end to end, with salt down at the turn where the slope always catches. Farm lanes, shop yards, the steep pull up out of a creek bottom — all of it cleared so a truck can get out and a workday can start on time. By the time the sun burns the fog off the fields, the work looks like it was easy.
