About Holcomb Lawn Care

The backroads toward Shop Springs and Norene run between fencerows so old the trees grew up through the wire, and every so often they open onto a farmhouse with a lawn worth keeping. Holcomb Lawn Care tends yards out there and closer in — mowing, string trimming, edging along drives and walks, weeding beds, and clearing leaves once the season turns them loose. Late afternoon is the hour for it, when the heat lets go and the light comes in sideways across the grass. A wide country yard finished right has a kind of calm to it, everything even, everything intentional. Then the truck heads home with the windows down.
