Lakesite leans against Walden Ridge, and the ridge decides things — it holds the shade, funnels the cold air down toward the lake, and keeps steep driveways slick long after the main road has dried. Obsidian Metalworks works those pitches through the dark hours: plowing, clearing hillside drives, shoveling sidewalks, treating ice before the morning traffic finds it. A storm here is measured in hours rather than days, so the answer is being out in them. Nothing beats headlights swinging across bare asphalt at five in the morning with the walk cut all the way to the door. Service runs through Lakesite and the nearby communities north of Chattanooga.
