About Tolbert's Tree Service
LaFollette lies between the Cumberlands and the arms of Norris Lake, in country where the mountainside comes right down to the back fence. Tolbert's Tree Service does the work those slopes ask for — removals on ground that will never take a bucket truck, trimming that keeps a hillside oak from putting its weight where the house is, pruning to open a crown that has grown one-sided reaching for light. Storms roll over the ridges and drop timber without much notice, and the answer is cutting, dragging and loading until the ground is clear. Winter strips these mountains bare and shows every flaw a tree has, which makes it a fine season to get ahead of things. Steep country, plain work, a clean finish.
