Dixie Turf & Tree

About Dixie Turf & Tree

Midsummer in LaFollette, the old street trees throw enough shade to make mowing a pleasure and to make the turf underneath them a puzzle. Dixie Turf & Tree works both sides of that puzzle, cutting, trimming and edging the lawn while feeding and weeding the turf and keeping the shrubs and small trees in shape so light lands where it should. A yard under big oaks asks for different handling than one out in the open, and reading that difference is half the craft. The town's older streets pay it back: deep green under a high canopy, borders drawn clean along the sidewalks. Come autumn those same yards go gold, and the leaf work begins again.
