About iRusty

On the first warm morning of the year, fog still sitting in the hollows below Lafayette, the mower fires on the second pull and the season is open. iRusty spends the months that follow going yard to yard across Macon County, cutting grass, trimming the corners a deck cannot reach, edging the walks, hauling off what piles up. Spring runs wet enough here to make the grass jump and fall runs dry enough to make it stop, and the visits track that curve. Some lots sit flat in town and some tip off toward a creek, so the approach changes even when the standard does not. Coming back down a country road past a lawn finished that morning is a fine way to end the day.
