French Lawn & Scape

About French Lawn & Scape

There is a week every spring when the redbud goes purple along the road cuts around Lafayette and the dogwood comes in white behind it, and that is the signal the mowing season has opened. French Lawn & Scape answers with the first cut of the year, the one that turns a winter-tired yard back into a lawn again. Through the warm months the routine holds steady: even mowing, close trimming at fences and foundations, a defined line where grass meets pavement, cleanups when the yard fills up. Macon County weather runs generous with rain in April and stingy come August, so the pace shifts to match. What does not shift is how a place looks when the trailer pulls back onto the road.
