Calo Tree

About Calo Tree

The wind comes off Percy Priest Lake with nothing much to slow it, and in February it can carry two inches into La Vergne overnight — enough to stop a town that rarely sees it. Calo Tree clears driveways, walkways and parking areas when that happens, shoveling in close where a blade can't reach and treating the ice hiding underneath. Snow here is short-lived and slick, which is exactly why the early hours are the ones that count. Steps get scraped down to concrete, not just skimmed. Then the melt runs off toward the lake and the town goes back to being green.
