Ulster Lawncare

About Ulster Lawncare

North of the city, out where Halls and Powell run up against the ridges, the ground is that red Tennessee clay that grows tall fescue thick and stubborn. Ulster Lawncare mows it all season — straight passes, trimmed fencelines, a border along the drive sharp enough to read from the road. By late October the maples give in and the work becomes leaves: raking, blowing, hauling, until a yard looks put to bed on purpose rather than by accident. There is a particular pleasure in the last cut of the year, coming off a lawn that will hold its shape until March. North Knox County stays neat because somebody keeps showing up on a schedule.
