Thress Nursery Gardens

About Thress Nursery Gardens

Knoxville is where the Holston and the French Broad meet and become the Tennessee River, and on a snowy morning that confluence runs dark and steaming between white banks. Thress Nursery Gardens offers snow removal in the city, clearing driveways and walks when one of East Tennessee's occasional winter storms blankets its hills. Snow here tends to come wet and heavy and leave fast, but for the day it stays, Knoxville's steep streets and sloped drives can turn treacherous. From Sharp's Ridge to the gold glint of the Sunsphere, the city goes quiet beneath it, and a shoveled path to the curb is a welcome sight. A nursery knows ground in every weather; in deep winter, tending it means a walk cleared right down to the concrete.
